Extended is a crypto exchange for perpetual futures trading. Extended is Perp DEX built on top of Starknet without centralized custody. This page tracks Extended DEX open interest and trading volume over time, alongside its share of the broader perpetual futures market.
You can also compare Extended with the market average, see funding rates for tracked assets, and follow recent changes in trading activity. Historical data makes it easier to see whether open interest and volume are growing or falling rather than relying on a single daily snapshot.
Extended Finance is a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures trading built by ex-Revolut team. It offers crypto perpetual markets where traders can take long or short positions without a fixed contract expiry.
We aggregate market data from extended.xyz across the assets we track and use it to calculate exchange-wide open interest, trading volume and market share. Historical changes are based on the same aggregated series shown in the chart above. Also we’re getting Extended’s funding for tracked assets.
Open Interest shows how Extended’s open interest has changed over a selected period. Rising OI means more value is held in open positions, while falling OI means outstanding positioning has decreased.
The Exchange vs Market section compares changes in Extended’s open interest and trading volume with the average across the Perp DEX market we track. OI Share and Volume Share show Extended’s current share of that market.
Extended fees uses a flat structure: 0% maker fee and 0.025% taker fee. The exchange notes that its fee schedule may change, so current rates should be checked before trading. Extended itself does not charge deposit or withdrawal fees, although gas or bridge fees can still apply.
